When you were a kid you dreamed about?  Becoming a pilot. I have always been fascinated with flight and flying. While I have not obtained my license yet, it is on my bucket list. For now, I will satisfy this dream by flying a lot!

Favorite Sports Team? The Syracuse Orangemen. Basketball or football. I grew up there and still enjoy the games.

Early Riser or Night Owl?   I have changed from Night Owl to Early Riser, like many as they mature. I used to be very able to work late into the night on a project, now I get sleepy at 10-11pm.

Instrument you wished you played?  The guitar. I learned violin as a child and still play now and then. I also like to fiddle on the keyboard, but guitar is a go anywhere instrument.

Boots or Flip Flops?  I am a flip flop (or rather a Teva) person now. I like the open concept shoes that are durable for water use, but that slip on and buckle for water activities.

Craft Brew or Ultra?   Beer, I prefer the darker, more flavorful beers and IPAs.

Black or Cream/ Sugar?   Always been a cream only coffee drinker.

Steak or Kale?   Both, actually. I am a big fan of hearty veggies and hearty meats!

What is your spirit animal?   The fox of course, although I am pretty much a prototypical Leo.

Last Book you couldn’t put down?  Dan Silva’s “A Death in Vienna.” I enjoy international espionage novels, especially when Gabriel Allon is involved.

Where do you want to visit?  I say frequently that I will travel anywhere. If I had to pick one place, it would probably be Japan.

Are you afraid of anything?  I would say only the wrath of anyone I did not treat with kindness and respect. Fortunately, I strive to always be kind to others, not only because it is the right thing to do, but to avoid that wrath.

Go-to Cocktail?  I am not a big cocktail drinker. I prefer certain spirits served neat.

Favorite TV Show?  I find it hard to pin down just one. I like watching series on Netflix or HBO.

Who’s your Best Friend?  I would have to say my wife. We have always been best friends in addition to being husband and wife. However, I have many close friends with whom I value my relationships.

One thing you can’t live without?  I could live without it, but I would miss my grill if I didn’t have it.

Sail or Motor?  I grew up with both so, I cannot say I prefer one or the other!

Best thing about your job?  The people I work with and the patients we treat. I enjoy being a part of and making a positive contribution to the community.
